We had excellent weather Saturday for mini session shoots. I will highlight a few sessions here on the blog to give you an idea of what can come of a well organized, efficient 30 minutes. I always look for locations that offer several opportunities for backdrops and play, especially when I know little ones will be attending. Portrait sessions can vary a lot depending upon children's ages. I love working with kids (and parents!), and one of the exciting challenges during these sessions is warming up the kids to the idea of being photographed, and keeping mom and dad calm and relaxed. In this session, the Shaw's daughter 'helped' me shoot some photos of her mom and dad by yelling out cues and checking my viewfinder. I think she could have a future in the business!
