Magic in 20 Minutes
Clients are always surprised at how many photos they end up receiving from a 20 minute mini session. I spend about 5 minutes warming up the family I'm working with, getting the nervousness out of the kids by letting them play, and capturing interactions as we do. From there, we take a walk as I capture natural moments between parents, kids, and even quiet moments between the couple. I will stop a few times to pose for more formal portraits in a variety of locations. This no-pressure approach has been my standard for years, and is why you won't see me set up with a "fall background" churning out the same photo for 50 different families in a season.
