I love weddings.

But I love vow renewals more. The fun of the wedding is the celebration of the unity of two people, whose relationship and bond have yet to be truly tested. Emotions range from excitement, and anticipation, to apprehension and anxiety. Vow renewals look toward a future that has been informed by an imperfect, beautiful past. Attendees tend to be family and friends who were present at the marriage, and children and new friends who are a product of the union. In a way, a vow renewal celebrates the life a couple has built, which is always so much fun to celebrate.

I had the pleasure of spending a beautiful afternoon with Ed, Beth Ann, and their family and friends at the Creekside Inn in Woodstown, NJ this past weekend. Here are a few of my favorites.
